Recording an announcement

1. Pick up a local extension, or remotely call the TalkSwitch system.

2. Press

on an analog extension, or

CALL BRIDGE (DISA)

The

Call back/Call Bridge > Call Bridge (DISA)

page allows you to set up

call bridges (DISA). Each call bridge can have a password and has a set of line
hunt groups. The password is only required if using call bridge without call
back. You can set up four call bridges for the TalkSwitch system.

Call bridge lets you place a call through the TalkSwitch system from a remote
location anywhere around the world, using your company’s long-distance
savings plan.

To use call bridge, call the TalkSwitch system (or have it call you back), dial
a line hunt group number to activate call bridge, enter the password followed
by

(if required), and then dial the third party’s phone number.

If you need to record an announcement from a remote location and do
not have the auto attendant set up to answer the telephone line, call the
telephone line and let it ring 15 times. A generic auto attendant will
answer. You can then enter command mode.
