1. Self-diagnostic Function
If the PCR reaction does not proceed well, it possible to determine whether the temperature
control for the main equipment is operating normally using the self-diagnostic function for
Sample Block temperature efficiency.
In addition, the status of the temperature control function can be tracked by performing
periodic self-diagnostic tests. There are 3 items in the diagnostic test:

Rate Test
Tests the heating and cooling rates.

Cycle Test
Tests the cycle time, overshoot and undershoot.

Up Down Test
Measures the heating and cooling time required to go up 98
℃
and then down to 10
℃
.
1) Select [Instrument] > [Diagnosis] from the Home screen.
