Chapter 6 Setting the Machine

This setting determines whether or not the needle bar case moves to the position of the laser crosshair
marker after the design has been embroidered, and the laser crosshair marker lights.
Having the laser crosshair marker light makes it easier to decide the position of the next design to be
embroidered.
1.
Display the Embroidery Setting screen.
2.
Tap [YES] or [NO] for [Return to marker position].
• To move the needle bar case: [YES]
• To not move the needle bar case: [NO]
In some cases, the thread needs to be trimmed partway through a design. For example, between
letters when the same needle No. is to be used for the letters. Whether or not the thread is to be
trimmed can be set using the number of jump stitches (stitches where needle does not come down).
At the default setting of [3J], the thread is automatically trimmed in places where jump stitches continue
for 3 or more stitches.

• Trim the thread after these number of jump stitches: [1J] to
[9J] (1 to 9 stitches)
• Thread is not to be trimmed: [NO]

Caution
Before the laser crosshair marker lights, the needle bar case moves to the center position. Keep
hands away from the needle bar case while it is moving. Otherwise, there is a risk of injury.
