Technical Description

TB9100 Installation and Operation Manual

Audio speech from the dispatcher arrives at the analog interface.

The ADC converts the analog audio to a digital voice stream.

A buffer adjacent to the ADC collects the individual samples into
packets. Header data is added to the packets.

The packet switch routes the packets to the appropriate encoder; the
IMBE encoder for digital P25 packets or the G.711 encoder for
analog FM packets.

The encoder passes the packets to the voter.
