HEATER Switch

The 

HEATER

 on/off switch (see Figure 1.2)

turns the power to the instrument heater on and
off. This switch should be in the ON (1) position
before you start an experiment.

The light in the HEATER switch will glow only when
an experiment is in progress.

POWER Switch

The 

POWER

 switch (see Figure 1.2) turns the

power to the instrument on and off.
