Removing and
Reinstalling
the Furnace

To remove or reinstall the furnace, you will have
to remove the furnace arm from its connection
inside the slot on the front of the instrument
cabinet.

Furnace Removal

To remove the furnace use the following proce-
dure:

1. Press the

FURNACE

key to open the

furnace completely.

2. With the ball driver supplied in your TGA

Accessory Kit, loosen the two screws on
each side of the furnace arm connection,
within the slot on the front of the instrument
cabinet.

In Figure 5.3 on the next page, the furnace arm/
base has been removed to better show the
location of the screws and alignment of the
cleats.

To obtain access to the upper left screw and cleat,
loosen the three hold

-

down screws on the furnace

base. Rotate the furnace housing gently counter-
clockwise to move the coolant connections away
from the front of the cabinet slot.
