Notifications
When you receive a new email, Phone Message, IM, or voice mail message, the service will give you a visual
notification in the title bar, no matter what application you’re currently viewing. Here’s an example of a new
email notification:
The notice will appear in a balloon just once. But, until you read or listen to your new message, you’ll see a little
icon in the title bar, reminding you that there’s a message waiting:
In the example above, there’s an email message waiting to be read. Other icons you might see notify you of the
following:
New email waiting.
New phone message (SMS) waiting.
New instant message (IM) waiting.
New voice message waiting.
If you have more than one reminder, the appropriate message icons will display in sequence.
