Description of the Drawing Tools (continued)

Arc (continued)

The Inner Shape handle moves in two dimensions to control the

shape of the inner ellipse only. Use any of the outer handles to
control the shape of the outer ellipse. Use the grid to help adjust

the arc to be circular, if required. When you're done, click

anywhere outside the rectangle to un-select the object.

Important: Don't drag the Angle handle to either 0° or 360°. If you

do, the arc will vanish and you'll have to start over again. If you

need a full 360° use the Halo tool instead.

Note: By default the Arc tool will always draw within perfect circle,

to change this select the object and uncheck the Lock Aspect Ratio

box under the Shape box on the Upper Right hand side of the
window this will also allow access to more advanced options as

shown on pages 111-115.
