The Input lines can be inverted or not using the “Inv” boxes.
UART_IN
Input for serial signals like RS232 or RS422
Trigger
This line triggers the camera to start image acquisition.
Logic A.B
These two signals are combined with an OR function.
The output of this combination is called “Logic”.
Debouncer
It allows the filtering of the incoming signal to avoid false reactions due to bouncing of the
incoming signal by ignoring it for a specified period before accepting it as a valid signal. Typically
used for accurate detection of incoming hardware trigger signals which may not have ideal form
characteristics
.
After marking the tic-box to activate the Debouncer the Debouncer Duration parameter box will
appear. Enter the length of time in µsec that the input signal should be ignored before valid
acception.
Prescaler
After marking the tic-box to activate the Prescaler the Prescaler Divisor parameter box will appear.
Enter the factor with which the input signal will be accepted as valid. Example: Entering a value of
2 will result in every second relevant signal being passed through as valid.
Here each second pulse is used.
