M easure  the  piston  p i n   bore  inside  d i a meter  with  a  caliper 

g a u g e ,  a n d  measure  the  p isto n  pin outside d i a m eter with a 
m i c ro meter.  If the d iffere nce  between these two  measure­
m ents is more than the l i m its ,  rep l a ce both piston a n d  piston 
p i n .
