desired. Like the Average block, Vector Average itself requests samples from a sensor and thus
does not require a Measure block to be used before it.
Vector Average has the same properties window as the Average block. See the description of
Average for an explanation of the different fields:
Vector Average has a large number of special outputs corresponding to all the vector
computations it makes. To perform most of its computations, the Vector Average block requires
signals on both its
Speed and Dir inputs. These inputs correspond in a general sense to
magnitude and angle , with the angle always specified in degrees.
When Input Quality % is checked, output quality of the averaged result will be good only if the
specified percentage of input samples have good quality. Note, the first average calculation after
recording start may contain fewer samples than subsequent runs, since the calculation begins on
the first sample interval that comes along after recording is started. When
Input Quality % is not
checked, at least two good input samples are required for good output quality.
