This menu contains CURRENT
TRACE. Use the CURRENT
TRACE screen to filter mes-
sages to view and or print
traces of interest. Figure 38
shows an example of a record.

The following is reported:
TOTAL MSG: Total number of messages in the capture buffer.
VIEW FROM: Sets the first message to be seen on the VIEW
screen, default is 1. To enter a number, press SHIFT and use the
numeric keypad.
VIEW TO: Sets the last message to be seen on the VIEW screen,
default is the total number of messages. To enter a number, press
SHIFT and use the numeric keypad.
Note: If the numbers are not within the range of the total mes-
sages “Check Entry Range” is displayed.

The screen contains the following F-keys:
VIEW (F1): Displays the first message meeting the criteria of
the display filter, if active, within the specified viewing range as
in Figure 29.
PRINT (F2): Prints all messages meeting the criteria of the display
filter, if active, within the specified viewing range. The printer must
be connected through the serial port.
CLEAR (F3): Clears all the messages of the current trace in the
Capture Buffer. A confirmation screen “Press ENTER to clear the
buffer” is displayed, or press ESC to abort.
FILTER (F4): Displays the FILTER SETUP screen. Previously
described in

Section 2.3.6.1.
