7.2 Applying the Effect to a Signal
Once you have selected the desired effect, you will want to apply it to one or
more of the channel signals in order to hear how it sounds.

Press the SELECT button on the channel to which you want to apply the ef-
fect (this will select the edit strip to the channel).

Make sure that the FX IN button is seleceted.

Now turn up the AUX 1 or AUX 2 send control (depending on which one you
selected as the source).

You should now begin to hear the effect on your monitor speaker or head-
phones.

Use the AUX 1 or AUX 2 send control to vary the amount of effect you re-
quire.
7.3 Editing, Storing and Renaming an Effect
It is possible to edit the parameters of any of the preset effects to suit your
own individual requirements.

Start by selecting an effect from the presets menu that is close to what you
want.

Press the FX EDIT button.
3 Now use the

(up/down) arrow buttons to step through the various pa-
rameters. The PARAMETER encoder is used to adjust the parameter value.

Once you are happy with the new edited effect press the flashing PRESETS
button.
5 Use the

(down) arrow button to select the FX Preset Recall line of
the LC display.

Use the PARAMETER encoder to select FX Preset Store .
7 Now press the flashing PRESETS button. The LC Display will now read:
Store To:
XX:<Empty>
