Cut length limited,
cutting table too close
to end position The cutting table is positioned close
to the end position and the length of
the cut is automatically limited. To
increase Cut length, reposition the
cutting table closer to the front start
position.
Safety malfunction
Please contact Struers The safety switch preventing the cut-
off wheel from starting while the
hood is open has malfunctioned.
Call a Struers service technician.
Vibrations The diamond layer is worn down to
the level of the metal disc Replace with a new cut-off wheel
The workpiece forces the cut-off
wheel to the side when cutting.
Heavy friction causes vibrations Cut more slowly
No coolant during cutting
The level of cooling fluid is too low Refill to the recommended level
The rubber foam is dry Wet the rubber foam before placing it
into the holder, the capillary action
will then keep the moisture level
constant
The water outlet is clogged Remove the cooling fluid nozzles
and run the recirculation pump.
Flush the cooling fluid nozzles with
clean water before replacing
The recirculation pump is
contaminated with cutting residue Flush the pump with clean water by
gently pressing fresh water into the
inlet tube
During normal use, it is not uncommon for the cutting table steel
bands located on either side of the cutting area to be damaged. If the
bands are only damaged on one side, then they can be turned. If
they are very badly damaged or damaged on both sides, then they
can be replaced with new ones. These are available as accessories.

Use an Allen key to loosen the screws holding the damaged
band.

Turn or renew the damaged band.

Using the Allen key, tighten the screws to secure the cutting
table bands.
