This parameter option appears when a horizontal adjustable
clamping tool is fitted to the cutting table. This type of clamping tool
enables you to produce sections of a specified thickness from a work
piece.
Although the work piece is moved manually, using the controls on
the clamping tool, the actual distance is displayed digitally on the
display.

Mount the clamping tool on the cutting table.

Lead the electrical cable forward and around the right hand side
of the clamping tool (away from the cut-off wheel).

Place the plug in the socket at the rear wall inside the cutting
chamber and secure it by turning the ring.

Insert the workpiece into a specimen holder with dovetail and
mount onto the clamping tool.

Important
After you have positioned your work piece in the clamping tool, ensure that
the knurled screw is tight. This prevents the work piece turning during the
cutting process.
