1. Advanced Operations
For fine cutting, such as working with printed circuit boards, the
Secotom-10 can be fitted with a manual cutting table. This provides a
working table where the cut-off wheel comes through from the
underside. The table comes complete with a cutting-guide, guard and
built-in light in front of the cut-off wheel.

Lift up the cutting chamber guard until it is vertical.

As it comes free, lift the guard straight up and remove it from the
Secotom-10.

Hold the cutting table vertically and place the machined bar in
the hinges.

Move the cutting table slightly downward to allow the securing
rod to engage into the locking position.

Place the plug in the socket at the rear wall inside the cutting
chamber and secure it by turning the ring.

Place a folded piece of wet rubber foam (supplied with the
Manual Cutting Table) in the holder on each side of the cut-off
wheel.

Remove the tube for cooling water from the nozzles at both sides
of the cut-off wheel and connect it to the nozzle underneath the
cutting table.

Release the securing rod and move the Manual Cutting Table all
the way down.

Fix the additional cutting table to the left of the Manual Cutting
Table using the self-adhesive strips.

IMPORTANT
Always make sure that the cable from the socket to the lamp housing does
not bend towards the cut-off wheel so that there is no risk of cutting into the
cable.
