PROBLEMS RIMEDIES
Check that the emergency button is not engaged (as described on page 27) .
In case of malfunction, check the instruction manual of the weighing scales.
Check that the conveyor belt is tight (page 51) .
Check that the interior of the conveyor belt is clean (page 51) .
Check that the valve installed on the left-hand side under the cylinder is open (Fig.
3, page 27) .
Check the lowering speed using the LEDS on the control panel; if the speed is
slow, increase it.
Try to lift the frame again and then lower it more slowly (the oil may still be cold
and cause the safety valve inside the cylinder to close).
Check that the valve under the cylinder on the left-hand side is open (page 19) .
Stop the machine and disconnect the cardan shaft from the tractor: now, check
that the cutters mounted on the auger are sharp
(Fig. 1, page 47).
If necessary, replace them as described on page 48.
Stop the machine and disconnect the cardan shaft from the tractor: now, check
that the space between the auger cutter and the bottom stationary blade does not
exceed 1 mm (
Fig. 1, page 47 ).
Stop the machine and disconnect the cardan shaft from the tractor: now, check
that all the parts subjected to stresses are lubricated in compliance with the
requirements in the table on
page 40 .
Ensure that scheduled maintenance is carried out as described on page 38 .
Check the oil level inside the gear motors as described on pages 43 and 44 .
Stop the machine and disconnect the cardan shaft from the tractor: now, check
that the chains are properly tensioned as described on
page 50 .
Stop the machine and disconnect the cardan shaft from the tractor: now, check
that the cutters mounted on the cutting rotor are not broken or blunt
(see page
46) . If they are, replace them as described on page 46 .
1. Check the distance between the two poles of the proximity switch: it must be
max. 5 mm
(see page 51). If the distance is larger, adjust it.
2. Check the electrical system, the line and the proximity switch.
1. Check whether the LED in the solenoid valve connector (page 43, fig. 1, part B )
is:
ON – in this case, go ahead with the hydraulic and mechanical checks
OFF – check the electrical system
2. Check the pressure directly on the gear motor fitting. If it is lower than 30 bar,
clean the fitting and, if necessary, adjust the max value of the hydraulic solenoid
valve (spare part code 99055062,
fig. 1, page 43 ).

• The weighing system is not
functioning properly.
• The unloading conveyor belt is
blocked.
• If you push the up/down button,
the miller frame does not move.
• The movable rear deflector does
not move when the control is
engaged.
• Mixing takes longer than normal,
and the tractor is working under
stress.
• The machine transmission is
noisier than usual.
• The de-silaging stage is difficult
and takes a long time.
• The central auger turns only if the
cutter is turning, and not vice ver-
sa.
• The central auger does not turn.
