Note: for good shredding with minimum power absorption, the cutters must be registered at a maximum distance of 1 mm
from the stationary blade (fig. 1). Cutters with a blunt cutting edge or at a larger distance from the stationary blade exert a
greater force on the tractor (causing increased fuel consumption) and produce inadequate mixing (with longer shredding
times, broken and ground product, etc.).
