STORMAIRCRAFT

FUEL SHUT – OFF VALVE

The two ways shut of valve is controlled by an OPEN / CLOSED switch on the central console, in
front of the throttles.

FUEL PIPES

From wing tanks to the auxiliary tank : Rilsan 8/6 mm
From the auxiliary tank through the firewall rubber fuel pipe inside diameter 7 mm.

Caution:

use only piping agreed for unleaded fuel

FLOAT

If installed It is accessible through the inspection hole on the wing.
To remove you must disassemble the wing (see Chapter 3.2.1)

5.2.1 FITTING REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

CAUTION

: before you proceed with the removal of: gascolator, electric pump, mechanical
pump and feed cock, the remaining fuel must be drained from the tank.

REMOVAL

Gascolator, electric pump, mechanical pump :

a) close feed cock
b) disconnect fuel pipes
c) disconnect electrical system from electric pump
d) remove locking nuts from firewall and engine

CAUTION

: should a malfunction of the mechanical pump occur, it cannot be repaired. It has to be

replaced.
