4.
Locate part LE1 and fit to wing assembly spanning ribs R1 – R5. Once the leading edge has been fit, install
end rib R6. Again, work slow and carefully to avoid breaking a part. If the fit is too tight sand or slightly pinch
the tab and work it into the corresponding notch using a gentle rocking motion.
5.
Install the trailing edge component TE1 spanning ribs R1-R6. Tack glue the trailing edge at each notch point.
Note that the trailing edge is keyed to fit properly in only one direction – it follows the dihedral angle of the spar.
Fit part W4 to center of wing assembly.
(ERRATA some kits may have W4 improperly labeled W1)
6.
Install the spar cap strips S2 and S3. S2 and S3 are notched to only fit on either the top or bottom of the spar.
Tip gently sand a chamfer, or pinch, each tab of the spar S1 to facilitate an easy fit – use your flat work surface
assist in tapping the parts into position. As you near the last two rib bays be certain to adequately support the
spar as you work the spar cap on. Finally add part R6a to outer rib R6 as indicated in the photo below.
