Before installing the receiver brick, connect the push rods to the servos by passing the
snake bend through the
middle hole
on the servo tabs. Turn the wire until it points
up
and
away from the circuit board.
53.
Pass the push rods through former F5 – The rudder push rod goes through the hole
marked R, on the
left
side of the former. The elevator push rod goes through the hole
marked E, on the
right
side of the former.
Pass the push rods through former F11 – The rudder goes through the hole marked R, on
the
right
side of the former. The elevator goes through the hole marked E, on the
left
side of
the former. Slit the covering over the exit slots on both sides of the fuselage, and pass the
push rods through the exit slots.
54.
Fit the receiver brick to the receiver tray. First, slip the
front
edge of the receiver board into
the notch in the short arm of the clip, then press the
rear
of the board
down
, until it snaps
under the long arm of the clip.
55.
Motor:
Remove the four spikes
under the mounting tabs on the motor, and sand the tabs
smooth.
56.
Using a sharp, single-edge razor blade, shave off the humps on
top
of the motor mounting
tabs, and sand smooth.
57.
Pass the motor lead through the opening in the nose, then
down
through the openings in
former F3 and the landing gear pocket, and into the radio compartment.
