96. Fit and bond the ply trailing edge reinforcements W37 to the gaps in the
trailing edges at the junction of the wing tips and the main trailing edges.
97. Lightly sand the finished wing, rounding the leading edge to flow smoothly
into the tops of the ribs. sand the tips of the leading edge to flow smoothly
into the wing tip sheeting.
Set the wing aside until Final Assembly.
Final Assembly
98. Cover the model with a lightweight material such as Stevens AeroModel
AeroITE or AeroFILM.
99. With a warm soldering iron, open the covering over the holes for the wing
mount dowels and the landing gear dowel in the side of the fuselage.
100. Paint the three dowels supplied with your kit to match your color scheme.
101. Insert one of the 2 in. dowels through the opening in F21, then through the
hole in F2. Push the dowel through until the inner end is flush with the edge
of the opening in the wing saddle. Bond with thin CA.
