It is not possible to operate Down at the same time as Up is in operation, and
vice versa. If a second control box is fitted, only one box can be operated at any
time.
The leds in the push buttons are linked to the outputs; they light up to indicate
that the output in question is being driven.
It is possible to operate the Unlock button while the Up or Down button is being
used. The control software has an assume unlock function. If Unlock is pressed
together with Up or Down, then it may be released once the raising or lowering
action starts. The unlocking solenoids continue to retract the pawls as long as
the Up or Down button stays pressed.
6.2 Performance when starting up
The presence of the first mains power phase is checked at startup and during
operation (the control circuitry is powered by the second and third phases). If
the control system continues to function, a phase drop will be indicated by the
leds in the Up, Unlock and Down buttons lighting up in succession.
Correction only takes place when the vehicle lift is being raised or lowered, and
is done by adjusting one of the lowering valves. This works as follows:
• If one guide piece reaches a greater height than the other during raising,
this guide piece's lowering valve is opened. This guide piece then continues
to rise at a reduced speed until the two guide pieces are back at the same
height.
• If one guide piece reaches a lower height than the other during lowering,
this guide piece's lowering valve is partially closed. This guide piece then
continues to lower at a reduced speed until the two guide pieces are back at
the same height.
