Installation and Service Manual

SK 2055 / 2070 / 2090

System

Specifications

The design has been calculated to enable a maximum load on

any one arm of:

• SK 2055: 2060 kg

• SK 2070: 2625 kg

• SK 2090: 3375 kg

Lifting

system

This hydraulic 2-post vehicle lift is equipped with a single

hydraulic unit (on post I). The unit drives the two cylinders in

parallel.

Control

system

The control receives signals from the two potentiometer units on

top of the guide pieces. Each potentiometer measures the height

of the guide piece via a wire connected to the post.
There is also a mechanical height safety as an additional safety

feature.
The control system continuously monitors the situation.

Adjustments to elevation differences are only possible during

raising and lowering.

Controls

The controls correct any elevation differences greater than 15

mm by opening the hydraulic correction valve so that oil can flow

out of the highest cylinder until the elevation difference is zero

again.

Monitoring The lowering action is interrupted if elevation differences have

arisen (e.g. due to obstacles below the arms). Because of the

obstacle, one guide piece will no longer be able to lower. If the

elevation difference exceeds 30 mm, the lowering action will be

halted. The control voltage status will blink rapidly.

It will still be possible to raise the lift. Raising eliminates the

elevation difference and the vehicle lift can be lowered again

once the obstacle has been removed. If the elevation difference

exceeds ±60 mm, the control power will be interrupted and

operation of the vehicle lift using the push buttons on the control

boxes will be disabled. The control voltage status on the control

box will blink slowly.

The data on the type plate is required for the (electrical) installation and for

ordering spare parts.
