2.4 Safety signs

The Freedomlift is provided with the following safety and protection signs.

2.5 Safety features

It is not allowed to bypass or switch off the safety systems.

2.5.1 Safety mechanisms

The vehicle lift has a control and monitoring system, which ensures that:
• The guide blocks always stay at an equal height within the control limits.

• Lowering is halted in the event that obstacles cause an elevation difference

to occur.

• The control circuit is interrupted in the event that the height difference

between the guide blocks exceeds a pre-defined value; operation via the

push buttons on the column lift control boxes is disabled then.

• Lifting is halted when the highest position is reached (height safeguard).

• The lowering action stops 30 cm above the floor. If the [DOWN] and

[UNLOCK] buttons are pressed again, the column will be lowered further
