The
AM settings are saved in non-volatile memory.
5.3 Acquisition - AQ
The
AQ command can be used to query the state of the receiver’s acquisition process. The
acquisition states are:
0 Acquisition stopped
1 Acquisition started
2 Receiver locked and tracking
3 A Fade is in progress
5.4 Clear Channel – CLR
The
CLR command can be used to either query or set the state of the receiver’s clear channel
mode. Clear channel mode allows a non-MX3 multiplexer carrier to be acquired.
The clear channel modes are:
0 Non-Clear channel only (MX3 mux acquisition required)
1 Clear channel only (aggregate data out to all ports)
This command is set in non-volatile memory. Default mode is CLR 0.
5.5 Current Multiplexer - CM
The CM command is used when acquiring an unknown mux to determine the current mux ID.
All of the download tables are based on the mux ID. The current mux ID is saved in non-
volatile memory.
The
CM command is also used to verify that the correct carrier has been acquired when the
mux being acquired in already known. The
CM command returns the value of the current
multiplexer that the receiver is locked on (or trying to lock on). If the receiver is performing a
manual acquisition and, thus, doesn’t know what mux it is trying to acquire, the
CM command
responds with “255.”
5.6 Data Rate - DR
The
DR command can be used to either query or set the current data rate of the receiver. Valid
data rates range from 512000 to 25000000 bits per second. After a
DR command has been
issued the receiver will try to acquire using the new data rate. A carrier is defined by data rate
and frequency, as set with the RF command.
