The Port Menu

The PORT MENU is used to configure individual cards within the expansion card slots. Figure

4 shows the PORT MENU. Specific card settings are detailed in Appendix A under the specific

card.

4.2.2.1

Setting the Card Type

The CARD TYPE submenu is used to select the type of card installed in the associated

expansion slot. The card type is set upon shipment so this submenu should only be necessary if

new expansion cards are added. If a new card is added, simply enter the CARD TYPE submenu

and select the card type from the available options. Once the card type is set, the other

submenus in the PORT MENU will be set accordingly.
When the card type has been selected, you will be prompted for a confirmation of your

selection. Use the and arrow keys to select YES (for your selection to take effect) or NO

(to cancel the selection).
