Checking the Receiver Signal Strength 

Use the SIGNAL STRENGTH submenu to check the receiver’s signal strength. This menu will 

display the receiver’s E

b

/N

o

 in dB. While the signal strength is being viewed, the submenu will 

update periodically. 
The receiver’s signal strength threshold is 4.5 dB. If the signal strength is low, make sure your 

antenna has been peaked correctly. The SIGNAL LED will blink if the signal strength drops 

below 5.0 dB.  
The front panel display is shown as:

AGC value ranging from 0 to255 

It is inversely proportional to the signal level received on the 

coaxial cable.
