12.8 WAYPOINT SETUP
12.8.1 DISTANCE UNIT
Allows Waypoint display to be shown in “Nautical Mile”, “Statue Mile”or “Kilo-
Meter” for distance.
1. Press and hold down the [ CALL

” appears.
2. Press the [
] / [ ] key to select “
Waypoint Setup”
.
3. Press the [ CALL

] key, then select
“
Distance Unit
” with the [
] / [ ] key.
4. Press the [ CALL

] key.
5. Press the [
] / [ ] key to select desired unit. Avail-
able selections are NM (Nautical Mile), SM (Mile) or
KM (Kilo-Meter) for distance.
6. Press the [ CALL
(
ENT
)
MENU
] key to store the selected
setting.
7. To exit this menu and return to radio operation mode
press the [ 16/9
] key or press the [
CLR
] key several
times.
12.8.2 DISPLAY RANGE
This menu item allows setting of the range rings on the display. The default
setting is “Auto”.

able selections are Auto (Auto change), 2, 4, 8, 10, 15,
20, 30, 40 or 50.
