10.2 POWER SAVE MODE

This selection selects the Battery Save Mode for the internal GPS unit. The
default setting for the Power Save Mode is “Level 1”.

1. Press and hold the [

: Activates the GPS receiver for 0.4 sec-

onds every 5 seconds.

: Activates the GPS receiver for 50 seconds

every 1 minute.

Level 3

: Activates the GPS receiver for 50 seconds every 3 minutes.

Level 4

: Activates the GPS receiver for 50 seconds every 5 minutes.

6. Press the [

] key to store the selected level.

7. To exit this menu and return to radio operation mode press the [

When Navigation or the GPS Status page is selected in the Radio Setup
