12.5 SAVING A DSC POSITION CALL AS A WAYPOINT

When a position is received from another DSC radio the

HX851E

allows the

position to be saved as a waypoint.

1. After a position has been received, press the

[

CALL

ENT

] key.

2. The first digit in the WPT Name will be flashing, Press

the [

] / [

] key to the first letter of the name you want

to input.

3. Press the [

CALL

] key, then press the [

]

] key to select the second letter in the name.

4. Repeat step 3 until the name is shown.
5. Press and hold the [

CALL

] key until the

radio beeps.

6. To stop navigating to waypoint:

1) Press and hold down the [
