To clean the secondary piston (

) proceed as follows:

- check through the cover door (

on page 23) that the safety pin (

ref.

) is placed completely outside the shoulder in order to pull it out; if it does

not happen operate by impulses on the start and stop button until it will be pos-
sible to extract it.

- remove the guard (

ref. 11

- remove the piston (

- clean thoroughly the piston (

Mechanical maintenance

7.4.1.1 Tension of belts:

not applicable to this machine.

Prohibition!

Do not attempt to clean the dividing chamber using any procedure other
than the one described above; in particular, do not access the chamber
from the top of the hopper by standing on steps or other support surfaces;
this applies even if the machine is switched off, because accidental start-
up of the machine, no matter how unlikely, may result in serious personal
injury.
ONLY FOLLOW THE METHOD DESCRIBED ABOVE.
