Protective measures:

The infeed opening has been protected by an impact-resistant plastic guard,
comprising four distinct parts, which is fixed to the frame by means of screws.

Protective measures:

The risk has been eliminated by inserting a guard between the cylinder and the
outfeed conveyor belt in the compression point which rotates towards the inside of
the roller.

Protective measures:

The top area of the machine has been protected by two steel guards connected to
two bayonet-type safety microswitches. These safety microswitches are also
connected to the upper hatches of the steel guards. Whenever one of the guards
is moved or a hatch is opened, the contacts on the respective microswitch open,
immediately cutting off the power supply to the machine.

The free end of each hatch, when closed, overlaps the metal guard cover (therefore
no openings exist). The microswitch is triggered when the hatch is raised by 25 mm
max from its resting position.

All other moving parts, such as drive mechanisms, belts, chains, etc. have been
rendered inaccessible by means of fixed guards. These guards may only be
removed under expressly specified circumstances and by the qualified technicians
indicated in each case in this Manual.
