6.8.1
Machine equipment
The machine can be supplied with different equipments; the most required are:
- with 90 kg hopper and short outfeed conveyor belt (standard);
- with extended outfeed conveyor belt for combination with other work lines (optional);
- with extended hopper (optional) [see Table 1 on page 25];
- with "R" type reducer (optional), to divide two pieces per cycle;
- with “KAFO” type reducer (optional), to divide a little weight piece (only for
SVP08-0 model).
If the machine is in the extended outfeed conveyor equipment, it is delivered with
the conveyor in the raised position; before starting the machine, lower the outfeed
conveyor into the horizontal position.
6.8.2
Set up and regulation
6.8.2.1 Equipment with reduction “R”
If the machine is in the equipment with "R" reducer (e.g. SVP08-1/R) then before
starting it, select the desired number of rows (1 or 2) and proceed as follows:
1) lock the pin (
ref. 1
Fig. 12
on page 41) in the raised position: the machine will
work with one row only.
2) If the pin (
ref. 1
Fig. 12
) is in the lowered position (to lower the pin, raise it and
turn it until the transversal shaft (
ref. 2
Fig. 12
) slots into the groove in the pin
housing (
ref. 3
Fig. 12
) the machine will operate with two rows.
Operator
The ordinary functions of the machine are controlled by the Customer’s qualified
operators.
The operator proceeds as follows:
Warning!
It is prohibited to start the machine when the outfeed conveyor is raised
and/or folded; the conveyor belt must only be raised and folded away when
storing the machine away from the processing area, or for transportation
purposes. Before raising and/or folding the conveyor, always disconnect
the mains plug from the socket.
Warning!
When the pin is lowered, its lower end must be located in front of the
projecting bronze section of the gear unit piston as shown in Fig. 12. If it is
located in any other position (as in Fig. 12/B), the machine may be
irreparably damaged.
