The machine must be handled by staff trained in the use of lifting and handling
equipment.
Handle the machine with the utmost care, avoiding collisions or impacts of any kind
which may damage the machine or affect its operation.
When lifting or lowering the machine with the ropes, act slowly and gradually to
prevent hazardous jerking movements as well as excessive momentum, which can
be difficult to brake.

To move the machine, proceed as follows:

1) remove the upper guards

ref. 1 and 11 Fig. 4

on page 23;

2) attach the ropes as shown in

Fig. 3

on page 20 to a lifting device (crane, bridge

crane, hoist);
3) slowly lift the machine without jerking it.

Danger

During the lifting operation, all of the surrounding area is to be considered
a danger zone

,

by which is meant an area inside or around the machine in

which the presence of a person constitutes a hazard for the safety and
health of the person in question.
Make sure that there are no exposed persons in the danger zone.

Danger

The machine may be moved with a forklift truck; in this case, check that the
machine is secured to the pallet with straps.
