For this example, you can ignore the Ring Pattern pop-up
menu. This option works with your phone company’s “distinc-
tive ringing” feature to respond only to chosen calls. See
Chapter 4, Trigger Types, for more information on this feature.
Create the Qualifier
If you share your phone line between your phone and modem,
you may want to keep PowerKey Pro from answering the
phone during business hours.
3. Click the Qualifiers... button. The Qualifier Editor will
appear.
We want to limit this Event to execute only after business
hours, so check the Time Range box.
4. Set the Time Range Options
to between 5:00 PM and
9:00 AM.
Click OK. The Trigger text will now
show the Qualifier information.
Create the Action
5. Click the New Action... button, and select “Answer Phone”
from the list.
6. Click OK to save the Event. Click the spin triangle to see
the whole Event.
