•
Transcode copy
You can duplicate or copy a clip on copy source media
by changing the video format of the clip
Example:
An HQ1920-format clip recorded on SxS
memory card (FAT format) can be converted to HD422
format and copied to the Clip folder on Professional
Disc.
•
Transcode partial copy
You can perform a transcode copy of the specified part
of a clip on copy source media.
•
Copy playback
You can perform chase play of a clip on copy source
media while copying the clip to the internal storage.
Example:
Any clip in the UserData >XDROOT or
UserData >BPAV folder on a Professional Disc cannot
be directly played back. However, it can be indirectly
played back by performing chase play while copying to
the internal storage.
• Normally, the UMID data of a copy source clip is saved
as is, but not saved when the clip is copied from the
internal storage to the internal storage (when the clip is
duplicated).
• When there is a clip with the same name as that of the
copy source clip in the copy destination location, the
name of the resulting copied clip consists of the name of
the source clip followed by a number in parentheses.
• Continuous playback is not possible in copy playback
mode.
• The following clips can become the copy playback
target.
- All clips in the UserData folder on Professional Disc
• Clips that support copy playback have a copy playback
icon on the clip thumbnail display
.
