Troubleshooting
“An error occurred while transferring AOSS
information.”, “An error occurred in security
information.”, or “An error occurred while
transferring security key.” appears.
There was an information exchange failure between
the unit and the wireless router/wireless LAN access
point. Wait a while, and then do the AOSS setup
again.
Place the unit and the wireless router/wireless LAN
access point close to each other and do the AOSS
setup again.
“Another device is connected to the access point.
Try again later.” appears.
The AOSS setup is being performed for another
device. Wait a while, and then do the AOSS setup
again.
“Multiple wireless stations/access points in AOSS
mode found. Try again later.” appears.
Multiple wireless routers/wireless LAN access points
in AOSS mode were detected. Wait a while, and then
do the AOSS setup again.
Instant (S-IWS) connection
You cannot set up an Instant (S-IWS) connection
without the Instant (S-IWS)-compatible Sony
wireless station (supplied with Sony “GIGA JUKE”
Music Server).
For troubleshooting related to Instant (S-IWS)
connection, refer to the operating instructions
supplied with your “GIGA JUKE” Music Server.
CD
Playback does not start.
Confirm that a disc is inserted.
Insert the disc with the label side facing forward
(page 25).
The inserted disc is of a kind not supported by the
unit (pages 25, 66).
There is condensation in the disc slot. Remove the
disc, turn off the unit for about 30 minutes, and then
insert the disc again (page 63).
The disc does not conform to the CD standard.
The inserted disc is scratched or dirty.
The sound skips, or the disc will not play.
The disc does not conform to the audio CD standard.
The inserted disc is scratched or dirty.
Move the unit to a location away from vibration (for
example, on top of a stable stand).
At high volume, speaker vibration may cause the
sound to skip.
Some tracks cannot be played.
If you are using a multisession disc with an audio CD
format, only tracks recorded in the first session can
be played.
MP3 files cannot be played.
MP3 files that do not conform with the ISO 9660
Level 1, 2, or Joliet standard are recorded on the disc.
Files without the “.mp3” extension cannot be played.
If a file on a disc is not an MP3 file but has an “.mp3”
extension, the unit tries to play that file and it may
cause noise in the sound or the unit to malfunction.
The files have the “.mp3” extension, but they are in a
format other than MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3.
Playback does not start from the first track.
Shuffle play or shuffle repeat play is selected. Set the
play mode to normal (page 26).
