Using the Sleep Timer

You can set the Sleep Timer so that the unit enters

standby mode automatically after a certain period

of time (Sleep Timer function). This function

operates even if the clock is not set.

Select [Settings] from the Home

menu.

Select [Sleep Timer].

Select the time interval.

You can select the interval from [Off]*

, [10

minutes], [30 minutes], [60 minutes], or [90

minutes].

Factory setting

After the selected time elapses, the unit enters

standby mode automatically.

To cancel the procedure

Press HOME.

To go back to the previous display

Press BACK.

Tips



You can set the Sleep Timer even when a function is

selected. Press OPTIONS during any function to enter

the Options menu, select [Sleep Timer], and then select

the time interval.



If you set both Sleep Timer and Play Timer at the same

time, the Sleep Timer takes priority.

Note

If you perform the following operations before the Sleep

Timer goes off, the Sleep Timer resets.



Disconnect the power cord.



Turn off the unit.



Select [Settings] from the Home menu and perform

[Common Setting] – [System Reset].
