either manually or automatically. Pre-setting

stations or services in advance allows you to recall

them by number.

DAB* can be received with the UK model only.

radio station

Select the Tuner function from the

Home menu.

Select [FM], [AM], or [DAB]*.

Listening to the radio

Perform tuning.

For automatic tuning:

Press OPTIONS to enter the Options menu,

select [Tuner Setting] – [Tuning Mode]

– [Auto]*

, press BACK twice, and then press





Scanning stops automatically when a station

is tuned in and then “Tuned” and “Stereo” (for

stereo program only) appear in the display.

If “Tuned” does not appear and the scanning

does not stop while tuning in an FM or

AM station, press



to stop scanning, then

perform manual tuning.

Factory setting

For manual tuning (FM/AM reception

only):

Press OPTIONS to enter the Options menu,

select [Tuner Setting] – [Tuning Mode]

– [Manual], press BACK twice, and then press





repeatedly until the frequency of the

desired radio station appears.

FM/AM display

If the FM station provides RDS (Radio Data

System) service, information (e.g., station

name) provided by RDS will be displayed.

The name that was entered for a preset

FM/AM station is displayed while that station

is being received (when [Preset] is selected for

the [Tuning Mode] setting).
