Turn the MENU knob to move the

 mark to FREEZE 

MAN TRIG, then push the MENU knob.

The

 mark on the left of FREEZE MAN TRIG 

changes to a

 mark and the

 mark on the left of the 

setting changes to a ? mark.

Turn the MENU knob to move the 

b

 mark to EXEC, 

then push the MENU knob.

The message “PICTURE FREZE OK? YES 

b

 NO” 

appears.
At this time, the 

b

 mark is on the left of flashing NO.

Turn the MENU knob to move the 

b

 mark to YES 

(YES flashes at this time), then push the MENU knob.

The picture from the camera at the moment when the 
MENU knob is pressed is stored to memory as a 
freeze-frame picture.
The freeze-frame picture is displayed on the 
viewfinder for the duration specified by FREEZE 
STOP TIME, then the video from the camera resumes.
After the freeze-frame picture is stored, the FREEZE 
STATUS indication changes from CLEAR to STORE.

When FREEZE is not set to ON, the freeze-frame 
picture will not be saved even if you press the MENU 
knob in step

Distinguishing the freeze-frame picture 
from the mixed picture

When CAM/FREEZE SEL is set to FREZE, the picture on 
the viewfinder can be identified by the status indication 
(FREZ or MIX).

the MENU knob to move the b mark to VF DISP 2,

MENU knob.
The current settings appear on the right side of each 
item.
