Tracks are recorded in MP3 audio format and a bit rate of 256 kbps. To change the format and bit rate,
see “Setting up the unit for recording or importing” (pages 54 to 56).
“Recording completes” appears at the end of the recording and the display automatically changes to
the main display of the CD function.
About obtaining the latest title information
If the unit is not connected to the Internet, you cannot search for or obtain the latest title information. For
details on network connections, see page 98.
Note
When recording a CD, the unit may produce more noise and vibration than during CD playback. This is because of the
higher disc rotation speed used during recording and is not a malfunction. The amount of noise or vibration produced
will vary depending on the CD type.
To cancel recording

To select and record individual tracks

Select the CD function on the “GIGA JUKE” Music Server.

Load a disc into the disc tray.

If you want to change the recording settings, enter the Options menu and change
the settings (pages 54 to 56).

Press HDD REC

on the remote control while the main display appears.
Tracks with the check marks will be recorded.

Select the tracks to be recorded.
Press ENTER to remove the check mark for tracks not to be recorded.

Press HDD REC

on the remote control.
Recording starts.
Tip
To select all the tracks, enter the Options menu and select [Select track] – [Select all]. To deselect all the tracks, select
[Select track] – [Clear all].
