Listening to the same track in different

rooms (PARTY MODE)

You can enjoy listening to the same music at the

same time in different rooms through the use of

PARTY MODE.

When the unit enters PARTY MODE as the “host”,

all wireless players are automatically invited to

enter PARTY MODE as “guests” (factory setting).

Turn on the unit and “guest” devices

in each room.

“GIGA JUKE” Wireless Player turns on

automatically when a “host” enters PARTY

MODE.

Make sure that each device is

connected to the network.

Press PARTY.

The HOME NETWORK function is turned

on and “Preparing PARTY MODE play.”

appears in the display.

When the preparations are completed,

“Preparing PARTY MODE play.” disappears.

When another device is already in PARTY

MODE as the “host”, the unit enters PARTY

MODE as a “guest”. If a track is being played

by the “host” at this time, the unit will not

start playing from the middle of the track.

The unit will start playing from the next track

that the “host” plays.

Select and play a track.

All “guest” devices also start playing the same

track. It will take about 10 seconds before the

playback sound is output.

To end PARTY MODE (during “host”

status only)

Press PARTY.

“Stop PARTY MODE play. OK?” appears in the

display. Select [Yes].

To leave PARTY MODE (during

“guest” status only)

Press PARTY.

“Leave PARTY MODE play. OK?” appears in the

display. Select [Yes].

To enter PARTY MODE automatically

as a “guest”

If another “host” device is in PARTY MODE,

you can set the unit to enter PARTY MODE

automatically as a “guest”.

Please note that if the unit is in the standard

(power save) standby mode, the unit does not

turn on automatically when it is invited to PARTY

MODE.

Enter the Settings menu and select

[Basic settings] – [System setting].

Select [Auto join PARTY MODE]

– [On].

The unit automatically activates the HOME

NETWORK function when the “host” device

enters PARTY MODE. “Preparing PARTY

MODE play.” appears in the display.

When the preparations are completed,

“Preparing PARTY MODE play.” disappears.

To cancel the automatic entering of PARTY

MODE, select [Off].
