3-2. Confirmation and Adjustment of
Secondary Power Supply Voltage
3-2-1. FDDR-7000 (Multi-channel digital disk
recorder)
FDDR-7000 has the power supply of
+
12V A,
+
12 V B,
+
5 V A,
+
5 V B,
+
3 V and
_
5 V.
After the installation is completed, confirm the power
supply voltage in the unit as described below.
The internal power supply voltage check must be
implemented also when options are additionally installed.
1. Confirmation for voltage of
+
12 V A,
+
12 V B,
and
+
5 V A
The power supply voltages of
+
12 V (A),
+
12 V (B) and
+
5V (A), drive the FDDR-7000 circuitry and BKFD-7009/
7009A (HDD unit) motor.
The adjustment potentiometers and check terminals to
connect the probes of a digital voltmeter for the voltage
measurement are located on the front panel side of power
supply unit.
<Check procedures>
1.
Remove the front panel. (Refer to the section 1-5-1.)
2.
Confirm that the power supply unit is properly inserted
and securely fixed with the four screws.
3.
Confirm that the required number of BKFD-7009/
7009As has been installed in the FDDR-7000.
4.
Turn ON the power and confirm that the indicator of
power supply unit light .
5.
Connect the digital voltmeter between check terminals
on power supply unit. Confirm that the voltage values of
each check terminal meet the following specifications.
n
Take care not to short the circuit between probes of a
digital voltmeter and front panel of power supply unit.
6.
If the specification does not meet, adjust the voltage as
described below.
n
Perform any adjustments when the required number of
BKFD-7009/7009As has been installed.
The number of BKFD-7009/7009As to be installed
differs depending on the system used. (Up to eight
BKFD-7009/7009A units can be installed in the
FDDR-7000.)
