Switch Alarm Control Board (CT-156)
Operation
• The CT-156 board consists of the micro-computer-aided
controls and the sync signal generator.
[Switch control block]
• This block controls the following:
1
Switch control data
The board receives data from the micro-computer
MC68HC11M0CFU4 (IC113) for controlling
switches, and puts them in memory as switch
program data. The program data are then, if required,
sent back to the micro-computer
MC68HC11M0CFU4 (IC113).
2
Switching data and camera title data
The switching data are transferred to the mother bus
of the MB-596 board so that the data are processed
on the input board. The camera title data are sent to
the mother bus as well so that the data are processed
on the output board.

[Alarm control block]
• This block controls the following:
1
Data exchange with the keyboard by the dual-port
RAM MB8421 (IC101)
This block receives the data for the alarm and switch
controls from the keyboard, and stores them in
memory as program data. The data are then, if
required, sent back to the keyboard.
2
Reading of alarm input signals through the
multiplexor on the CN-1109 board.
This block reads the alarm input signals of up to 256
kinds and processes them according to the program
data, resulting in transferring the switching data to
the micro-computer MC68HC11M0CFU4 (IC308)
and providing the output signals simultaneously.
(See item
3
)
3
Latching of alarm output signals through the
demultiplexor on the CN-1110 board.
The block provides alarm output signals.
4
Lithium battery power (voltage) check
The block keeps checking on the power remaining in
the lithium battery that holds the SRAM (IC102,
IC301). The voltage of the battery is A/D converted
and, if the voltage becomes lower than specified, the
block sends the keyboard commands to let the
operator know the power is limited.
5
Clock control
This block controls the real time clock IC
RTC62421A (IC118) for setting and transferring date
and time.
