Note
When setting up the system, be sure to establish
synchronization between cameras (see page 13 (EN)).
Do not use the line-lock reference signal as a
synchronization signal for the VD-S lock cameras, if
such cameras are used.

Preparation
Inserting the Lithium Batteries
Insert two CR2032 lithium batteries (supplied) into the
system controller.

Open the front panel and locate the battery holders.

Insert the lithium batteries into the battery holders
with correct polarity (positive side facing up).

Close the front panel.
When the batteries become weak
The batteries last for about a year with normal
operations.
When the batteries become weak, the “batt” indicator
appears on the LCD screen of the System Keyboard,
and the settings such as date and time will be lost.
Replace the two batteries with the new Sony CR2032
lithium batteries.
Caution
Use the Sony CR2032 lithium batteries or equivalent.
Use of other batteries may cause a risk of fire or
explosion.
When replacing the batteries
Be sure to keep the AC power turned on.
Otherwise, data set in the System Controller may be
lost.
