Chapter 4 Commands
Button Operations
“Up” button:
No associated function.
“Down” button: No associated function.
“Enter” button: Confirms the new password.
“Cancel” button: Returns to the command menu.
The new password becomes effective when you log in the USER mode next
time.
Caution
Take a good note of the stored password in case you forget it.
The default factory settings are as follows.
• PASSWORD MODE in USER mode: Disabled
• USER PASSWORD in USER mode: 000
PASSWORD MODE
This command is used to set whether a password is required when you log in
USER mode.
Press the “Enter” button when the command menu is displayed, and the LCD
panel display changes as follows. The library is now in Command execution
mode.
Display
Lower line:
Displays the setting status of password requirement.
ENABLE (a password is checked), DISABLE (a password is
not required)
Button Operations
“Up” button and “Down” button: Switches between ENABLE and DISABLE.
“Enter” button:
Confirms the setting.
“Cancel” button:
Returns to the command menu.
DRV HOT SWAP
This command is used to interrupt/supply the power of drives in the library.
Press the “Enter” button when the command menu is displayed, and the LCD
panel display changes as follows. The library is now in Command execution
mode.
Display
DRV1 : ON:
Supplies the power of Drive 1.
DRV1 : OFF:
Interrupts the power of Drive 1.
DRV2 : ON:
Supplies the power of Drive 2.
DRV2 : OFF:
Interrupts the power of Drive 2.
