Chapter 4 Commands
Button Operations
“Up” button and “Down” button: No associated function.
“Enter” button:
No associated function.
“Cancel” button:
Returns to the command menu.
SHIPPING PARK
This command is used to shut down the library automatically.
This command executes the following operations.
• Moves the mechanical part to the fixed conveyance position.
• Backs up a variety of memory information (setup information, operation
counts, error logs) to nonvolatile memory.
Caution
Before executing the command, make sure to remove all the media from the
library. Transporting the library with the media left inside may cause a
malfunction of the library.
Press the “Enter” button when the command menu is displayed, and the LCD
panel display changes as follows. The library is now in Command execution
mode.

Executes a shutdown operation.
“Cancel” button:
Returns to the command menu.
When a medium is left in the library, the following display appears. In this case,
press the “Cancel” button to return to the command menu. Then execute an
appropriate command such as EMPTY LIBRARY to remove all the media from
the library and perform the SHIPPING PARK command again.

When the command ends normally
The following display appears.
After the step, button operations are no longer available. So simply power
off the library.

When the command ends abnormally
The following display appears.
