Chapter 4 Commands
CONFIGURATION menu
The CONFIGURATION menu includes the commands listed below:
• SCSI-ID SET (page 57)
• BARCODE SET (page 58)
• USER PASSWORD (page 58)
• PASSWORD MODE (page 59)
• DRV HOT SWAP (page 59)
SCSI-ID SET
This command is used to view and change SCSI IDs of the library and built-in
drives as well as specify whether mounted drives are used.
Press the “Enter” button when the command menu is displayed, and the LCD
panel display changes as follows. The library is now in Command execution
mode.
Library
Built-in Drives (Drive 1, Drive 2)
Display
Lower line: Displays the information of SCSI device, SCSI ID and the service
status of device.
LIBRARY: Library
DRV 1–2:
Number of built-in drives
0–15:
Number of SCSI ID
ON:
The drive is used.
OFF:
The drive is not used.
Button Operations
“Up” button:
Increases the SCSI ID value by 1 when the cursor is positioned
on the SCSI ID.
Switches between ON and OFF when the cursor is positioned
on ON/OFF.
“Down” button: Decreases the SCSI ID value by 1 when the cursor is
positioned on the SCSI ID.
Switches between ON and OFF when the cursor is positioned
on ON/OFF.
“Enter” button: Moves the cursor.
The cursor is jumped in the following order: LIBRARY ID
→
DRV1 ID
→
DRV1 ON/OFF
→
DRV2 ID
→
DRV2 ON/
OFF.
Only when you press the “Enter” button with the cursor
positioned on DRV2 ON/OFF, the modified ID is stored.
“Cancel” button: When the cursor is positioned on LIBRARY ID, the library
returns to the command menu.
Other than the above case, the cursor moves backward to the
previous position.
