Section 9 – Functional Test
9.1 Introduction
Before performing any functional testing on the equipment, ensure
is read and fully
understood.
Make sure the transponder has been cleaned; see
.
Remove the battery disconnect fob (if fitted) to enable the transponder.
To make sure the Compatt 6 functions correctly functional testing can be carried out. Many functions
can be tested via the RS232 serial link using 6G Terminal Lite software.
Functional testing can be carried out on all major sub-systems in the Compatt 6, these include:

Transmitter Synthesizer

Wideband Receiver Circuitry
